Here's What to Know for Orientation!

Fall 2025 Orientation 

Orientation Day: Tuesday, September 2, 2025

Are you a new student beginning your program at СʪÃÃÊÓƵ in September 2025?  We want to make sure you’re off to the best start before classes  and get ready for success as a СʪÃÃÊÓƵ student.   

All new students are encouraged to attend. Attendance to Orientation Day is mandatory for new international students.

Pre-Orientation Sessions will also be available from August 11-29 to help you get all the information you need before classes start in September.

International Welcome: Friday, August 29

Along with Pre-Orientation Sessions and Orientation Day,  international students starting their studies on main campus in Sault Ste. Marie this fall will also attend a special International Welcome Day.

Attendance is mandatory. Registration is not required.

We want you to feel comfortable before starting classes. Join us for pre-orientation sessions before your first semester begins.

Get ready for an amazing start to your college journey with O-Week events from your СʪÃÃÊÓƵ Students’ Union on Friday, May 2. Stay tuned to the SCSU website for event details!

Let's help you achieve your academic goals and learn about opportunities to get involved. New students starting May 2025 can complete the online survey for a chance to win a $300 Bookstore gift card on May 23. Early bird draws will be on April 30 and May 16 for a chance to win 1 of 2 $100 Chartwells gift cards.
